Check the identification route early so it does not delay your formation application. Use this guide to prepare your questions and information before applying.
If you have an Irish PPSN
The CRO requires identification details for relevant officer filings. Use the details that match the official identity record. Do not post your PPSN in a public form or ordinary website enquiry.
If you do not have a PPSN
An officer without an Irish PPSN may need to complete the prescribed identity verification process to obtain an Identified Person Number (IPN). Preparation can involve a verification form and witnessed identity information.
Which packages include support
Standard and Premium include IPN support when you have no Irish PPSN. Basic expects the required PPSN or IPN to be available. Confirm how many officers need support and your particular circumstances with the team.
Keep identity processes distinct
CRO director identification and RBO beneficial owner verification serve different filings. Ask which number and verification process applies instead of assuming one form resolves every obligation.
