Understand the upfront package price, what it includes and the costs to plan for after incorporation. Use this guide to prepare your questions and information before applying.
Compare the four formation prices
Basic is €207.90, Standard €328.90, Premium €592.90 and Non-Resident €2,473.90. Every package includes the incorporation filing fee and core company documents. Standard and Premium include IPN support when you have no Irish PPSN.
Plan for the services you actually need
Registered office service is €176.00 per year. Annual return support is €176.00. Tax registration is €440.00 and business name registration is €220.00. Premium includes the registered office, first annual return and RBO registration; compare scope before buying extras.
Separate formation from ongoing running costs
Accounting, tax liabilities, future returns, banking and insurance depend on your business. An incorporation package does not remove these obligations. The two-year bond in the Non-Resident package may need renewal if the company continues to need it.
Avoid paying for the wrong route
Director residency, identification and your address matter more than nationality alone. Use our route checker and ask for clarification if you have an unusual ownership or director arrangement.
Worked examples using the listed service prices
These examples compare the published package and service totals. They help you budget for the listed scope; the team must confirm suitability and any additional requirements before you proceed.
- Basic plus a registered office: €207.90 + €176.00 for the first year = €383.90. This combination does not add IPN support, the first annual return or RBO registration to Basic.
- Standard plus a registered office: €328.90 + €176.00 for the first year = €504.90. Standard includes IPN support where needed and the first annual return; RBO registration is not listed as included.
- Premium plus separate tax registration: €592.90 + €440.00 = €1,032.90. Premium already includes a registered office, first annual return and RBO registration. Confirm the tax service scope for your activity.
- Non-Resident plus a registered office: €2,473.90 + €176.00 for the first year = €2,649.90. Confirm identity support and any additional cross-border requirements separately.
Do not add an office service twice when it is already included in Premium. Likewise, Standard, Premium and Non-Resident already include the first annual return service. A lower total may cover less support, so compare the inclusions alongside the price.
Build a budget beyond incorporation
Separate your one-off formation costs from recurring services. An office service has a yearly price; future accounting and filing support will depend on your activity and the arrangements you agree. Plan for the renewal of a director bond if it remains required when its two-year coverage ends.
A company that has not started trading may still have company-law filing duties. Keep a compliance calendar and agree who is responsible for each filing. Ask the team which services are included in your package, which expire and which require a new instruction or renewal.
Payments to an accountant, bank or insurer, and the company’s tax liabilities, are separate from the incorporation price. Avoid treating a formation package as the total lifetime cost of running a company.
Five useful questions before choosing a package
- Does my director residency arrangement need a bond or an exemption?
- Do all relevant officers have the required identity numbers, and what support is included if they do not?
- Do I have a suitable Irish registered office, and what are the renewal arrangements if I use your service?
- Who will handle the first annual return and beneficial ownership registration?
- Which tax, accounting and banking tasks must I arrange separately?
Compare the complete package inclusions or send your circumstances to the team before selecting a route. No fixed incorporation date or authority approval is included in a package price.
